At a very young age I was exposed to the world of craft and design. My grandmother did croquet, knitting and was an accomplished upholsterer and seamstress. This was the same for my aunts so not being a crafter was never an option for me, something I am very grateful for.
When I was in my early teens I worked on macramé and weaving which very naturally complimented the transition into wire weaving and sculpture. This is where my passion and addiction of all things metal and gems began.
For over 25 years my metal smith experience has taken me to Georgia for Lapidary and Metal workshops with the William Holland School of Lapidary arts, to San Francisco to train with the Revere Academy of Jewelry.
My pieces are hand sculpted in wax then personally cast in my home studio, where all the magic takes place. Much of my work incorporates the pink sands of Bermuda’s stunning beaches. My appetite for learning all things jewellery and my love for Bermuda has resulted in my ability to hand fabricate all the pieces you will find on my website and at the locations listed
